Helping Manufacturers Maximise Plastic Value
Leading global plastic recycler Vanden Recycling is offering 100 manufacturers and recyclers the opportunity to receive a free polymer material analysis report – part of a new initiative designed to promote smarter, more sustainable decisions across the plastic supply chain.
With laboratory facilities in the UK, Turkey, and Australia, Vanden’s technical teams support businesses in identifying the true composition, quality, and recyclability of their materials. These free reports will help companies better understand the polymers they use – revealing critical data about material type, contamination, processing suitability – and material value.
“When you understand your material, you can protect value, avoid waste, and maintain product performance,” said Beril Yesilirmak, Global Technical Director at Vanden.
“Every plastic batch is different – which is why lab-based insights are essential if you want to reduce risk, avoid rework, and support a truly circular economy.”
The initiative is open to eligible businesses across Europe, the UK, Turkey, and Australia. Participants will be invited to send a plastic sample to Vanden’s lab, where technical specialists will conduct one of several industry-standard tests – such as Melt Flow Index, FTIR, NIR, density, or sink-float analysis.
A short technical report will follow, outlining the key results in a clear, business-relevant format.
“This is about empowering better decisions,” added Beril. “We want to help manufacturers and recyclers secure higher material value, reduce unnecessary losses, and build closed-loop systems. These reports demonstrate what’s possible when you have certainty about what your material really is.”
